    Ideal Fashions Inc. was originally a coat manufacturing company that was established in 1936 . In the late 1930’s, the original founder of Ideal had two World War II surplus Quonset huts added to either side of the building. At this time, he also made the TV game show ‘Pick Your Ideal’ which was broadcasted in the Philadelphia area and hosted by the then famous, Ernie Kovacs. Along with this, one of the most famous jingles of all time was born. This jingle is still known throughout the tri-state area to this day!

     

    Ideal Fashions has become New Jersey’s largest prom store and a leading global source after being in business for over 70 years! Our store is stocked with hundreds of prom and special occasion dresses, not to mention our large selection of  evening wear, outerwear, and sportswear at unbeatable prices. Our online Alfred Dunner sportswear collection is the largest collection on the web, and our in-store Alfred Dunner inventory is very complete.

     

    Your prom is just as important to us as it is to you. We carry over 15 of the most popular designers including Alyce Designs, Scala, Mori Lee, Jessica McClintock, Sherri Hill, and Cassandra Stone just to name a few.

    Prom is one of the most memorable nights of your life!  Here at Ideal, it is of great importance to us that our staff be fully dedicated. We know how important it is for you to find your dream dress, be assured we will be there to help!  You can visit our store 7 days a week or shop online 24 hours a day.  

     

    We have a large selection of dresses in stock that can usually be shipped to you the same day you place your order. If we don’t have what you are looking for, many dresses can be special ordered in a variety of sizes and colors.
